Welcome to The Roof Deck Project

 

The Roof Deck Project officially began during the TEL3 Roof Deck Waterproofing Project Kickoff Meeting on January 31, 2018  prior to the multi-contractor interviews which followed immediately after the breakfast meeting.

Several walkthrough inspections were conducted in 2017 to assess the extent of the damage to the roof deck waterproofing.

2017/11/14  -  Roof Deck Inspection During Blower Pullout

2017/10/17  -  Roof Deck Walkthrough Inspection with Basilio Construction

2017/10/15  -  Roof Deck Walkthrough Inspection by the New Board of Directors

As per our Master Deed (Section 5.  The Common Areas, sub (c)) :

"and, park and playground, lift lobby, EE/tel/garbage chute and machine room, at the roof deck, "

So this place was meant for residents enjoyment... 

Hence after the completion of the major Roof Deck Waterproofing Project, the current Board of Directors have always been hard at work to making this more and more a reality...

As our home The Lafayette III Condominium is somewhat a featureless building, we have decided to take on the challenge to add more features to our building for the enjoyment of our residents.

Several test events have been done at this place to further evaluate what needs to be improved.  And the major clamor is to have a Comfort Room as it would be inconvenient particularly to seniors to go up and down the steep stairs from the roof deck to the 26th floor elevator then either to respective units or the ground floor comfort room. Hence...
